About Crime Services Agency

Crime Services is a publishing agency which deals solely with the design, print and distribution of community safety material. August 2007 sees the start of our 11th year in operation.

We are committed to updating and improving our publications to reflect the raft of new legislation which affects the way our local community safety strategies are policed and managed.

The company was founded by the late Ed Plater, with the launch of a community safety booklet for Humberside police for four area commands.

Since then CSA has worked closely with 38 constabularies, hundreds of local authorities and independently around the country producing millions of community safety booklets each year as well as specialist crime reduction material for individual forces. Former regional newspaper editor and news journalist Deb Cavanagh joined CSA in October, 1999.

The Home Office's CRN Crime Reduction News and Digest Magazine has featured the booklets on two separate occasions in the past two years. To see more Click Here

Our reputation for efficiency and quality has grown substantially and much of our work comes through recommendation from police and community safety officers around the country.
